My mentor Heidi De Pauw and I headed straight away on a very personal journey.
From the beginning I experienced a very natural and open-minded connection with Heide. Every topic - without any taboo – could be discussed in a safe environment.

This spontaneous connection allowed Heidi and myself to dive deep into complex matters, about personal and professional ambitions and life goals, but also into uncertainties, doubts and unanswered life questions. Our conversations were honest and whatever the time or the matter, my mentor has been there for me.
I feel Heide and me are off on a life-long journey .

My fellow young leaders are equally inspiring individuals.
Young, ambitious people from different backgrounds coming together and openly sharing their weaknesses, their questions and ambitions: it’s an endeavour that generates an unbelievably strong connection. Knowing that each of us copes with the same (life) questions and the same struggles, allows me to open up about tough themes, and to discuss them without fear of judgement.
It gives me a boost to question and challenge myself everyday.

This journey has made me more conscious about myself, my personal, social and professional goals but also about my role in society.
By taking small steps every day, often by trial and error, I can continuously grow as a human being, take on responsibility and contribute to our society in a positive way.

As an outro, I would like to share two convictions I truly believe in: Life is all about give and take - and - Just do it and enjoy life!
