"The desire to win with kindness defines how I approach every challenge and every team I lead."
Quentin Willocq is 35 years old, lives in Wavre with his wife Constance, and is eagerly awaiting the arrival of their baby boy at the end of July 2025. For 12 years, he has worked at AG Insurance, currently serving as IT Manager in the life department. He leads three exceptional teams totaling 45 people who maintain, transform, and improve the applications used to underwrite and manage life insurance policies, while also ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality data to the data warehouse.
"There is no success without failure. Mistakes teach us how to grow and improve every day."
Driven by a strong desire to win, Quentin once only committed to personal and professional challenges he was sure he could master. But his journey to self-discovery taught him to embrace failure as part of growth. From sports and craft classes to small and then bigger professional risks, he learned to love failing because it revealed new insights. From not being able to hang a simple picture frame to building custom furniture, and from managing small coding tasks to leading multiple teams delivering hundreds of critical software updates daily, his growth reflects his resilience and willingness to learn.
"Every morning I wake up determined to have a positive impact on those around me, knowing they will impact me too. Together we win or learn as one team."
Each new day brings an opportunity to make a difference. I start every morning with the mindset that my actions can positively influence the people around me. At the same time, I recognize that they also shape and inspire me. This mutual impact creates a shared journey where success is a team effort. Whether we achieve our goals or face setbacks, we do it together learning and growing as one united team.
"Leadership means accepting doubts with humility and knowing that your team supports you through every challenge."
Leadership is not about always having the right answers or appearing invincible. True leaders face moments of uncertainty and self doubt but they accept these feelings with humility. They understand that vulnerability is a strength not a weakness. What makes a leader strong is the support of their team a collective effort where challenges are shared solutions are co created and everyone grows together. This mindset creates trust openness and resilience within the team allowing them to overcome obstacles as one.
