Participate to the next edition of YL-IM?

When selected, you will be invited for a (digital) interview in March 2024. Practical details about these interviews will be provided.

The new edition of YL-IM will be launched on Thursday, the 28th of March 2024 with a community dinner event. When selected, you will be invited for this dinner which is exclusively for YL-IM community members.

Selection process

The yearly selection of the 15 Young Leaders of the upcoming YL-IM edition is made following a standard process:

• First selection round: Selection based on your :

  • CV: A link to your up to date LinkedIn profile.

  • Motivation video: Send us a video of maximum 2 minutes where you tell us who you are and why you would like to participate to the YL-IM 2024 edition. We don’t ask any complex, edited video's, a capture with your phone is sufficient. As authenticity is important for us, you are free to record the video in Dutch, French or English.

• Second selection round: Four interviews with the members of the selection committee. In these short interviews we will focus on who you are, your motivation to participate and on your personal development objectives. These interviews will be organised digitally and organised on one evening (date will be communicated later).

• Upon selection you will be matched to an Inspiring Mentor based on what we evaluate as the best fit. You will discover your Inspiring Mentor on the kick-off dinner on the 28th of March.

Selection Criteria

• You are below 35 and have ambitions to positively impact society

• You want to give a boost to your self-consciousness and self-development

• You have a positive mindset and a “can-do” or “make it happen” attitude

• Your are active in private or public sector, sports, arts, … We embrace people from a variety of sectors and backgrounds

Participation cost:

• Corporate participation: 3.000€, excl. VAT

  OR

• Individual participation: 1.500€, incl. VAT*

• Cost for participation of the mentioned gatherings are included

* If you are interested to join, but the participation fee is a barrier to register, we kindly invite you to apply and send a separate mail to greet@ylim.eu. Financial restrictions shouldn’t be a reason to not participate.
