Young Leader, edition 2020 - 2021

Our group of young leaders is very diverse. There are engineers, youth workers, musicians and top athletes. It is very interesting to hear different opinions on very different topics. All our meetings and discussions are confidential. The gatherings help us to develop ourselves as young leaders, but also to build a network of like-minded professionals.

We consider seemingly commonplace yet important questions such as “how are you?” and “how are you feeling?”. Greet and Olivier moderate the debates and do an excellent job. My mentor, Hans, gives me an extra push when I make decisions on which path to take. He shares his own life and work experiences with me. What I do with his guidance is ultimately my own choice. We know where to find each other when needed.

The contact with my mentor certainly doesn't feel like an obligation. My mentor is first and foremost a ‘compagnon de route’, someone who takes my story to heart and gives his opinion about it or speaks to his network to help me move forward, not only for professional matters but also for everyday things. For me, the program is a direct hit that I already got a lot out of (and still want to get more out of) and from which I always come back with a lot of positive vibes. I can only recommend it to anyone who also wants to have a positive impact as a leader.
